For the second year in a row, during the Brač’s music, dance and poetic days from 30.06.-03.07.2009. at Svpetvrs Hotels the Second International Summer Festival was held.

The Festival was opened with the exhibition of graphic-reference maps of ''Federico Gracia Lorca'' and the poetic-musical recital ''We talk something amourous''.
 
Opening is accompanied by arias of Ivica Čikeš and Stefan Kokoška, Champions of Split HNK, and among the many visitors there were  the Israeli Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, His Excellency Shmuel Meir, and Rabbi Preljević.
 
In the poetic-musical recital participated two respectable names,  American movie star Armand Assante and famous Israel actress Gila Almagor.
 
The Festival was magnified by performances of the local actors: Dragan Despot, Anja Šovagović Despot, Nela Prizmić Čolić and Zrinka Cvitešić and musical accompaniment Ana Rucner on the cello, Doris Karamatić on harp and Darko Petrinjak on the guitar.
 
The love verses of Neruda, Lorca, and Tin Ujević were recited. It is about three ''magnificent'' who each in their own way mark its time. Israeli actress Gila Almagor recited the songs in Hebrew language, so that night, visitors had a chance to listen to poetry in three languages, Croatian, English and Hebrew.
